Exciting News!

One of the craziest things about the whole benefit album project was that it really snowballed into something much bigger than I thought it would be. It took a ton of work, and even more stress, and I was happy and relieved to see it through to the finish line. However, the day after the concert was over,
I was talking to my dad on the phone when he casually asked me,

"Well, what's next?"
My response? "Uhh...nothing."

Even with all the time and energy I, and everyone else involved, put into the project, I had always planned on it being a one-and-done sort of thing. I was
planning on doing nothing more than taking a nice, long break
for the rest of the summer and laying by the pool.
But after more conversation with my dad,
I realized that instead of calling it a day,
the benefit album had given me just the
momentum I needed to keep going.
So, I'm very excited to announce that I have started an independent record label!
It's been a goal of mine to start a label for several years,
but I never expected to do it while I was still in college.
For now, I'm only specializing in charity benefit projects,
but eventually plan on working with individual artists
and bands once I gain some more experience.
In the past month, I've put together a website
and all the related social media platforms,
and am very excited to be launching them all this week.
Now that everything is up and running, the next project I'm working on is
a Christmas album for the Community Action Services and Food Bank in Provo.

Please feel free to take a minute and
 look around Red Cardigan's website
I would love any feedback and can't wait
to see where this new endeavor takes me.

Don't forget to Like Red Cardigan Records on Facebook!

In the meantime, here are a couple videos from the benefit concert,
now uploaded on the official Red Cardigan Records YouTube channel!
