We Were Here

"and now i find myself back...back in my adventure. back in college. back in the choice i made, that cannot be taken back. not that i regret it. it is just...not as special. it's not as special as what i found...when i returned to the friends, who so lovingly take me in. who don't praise me or put me down. i am just a part. and no matter how minor or major role i play, it is where i belong. with them. it means the world to me." - A. McDonald

The Hills Are Alive!

It's that time of the year again! The only good thing about the end of the summer is the start of my favorite totally addicting, superficial, kind-of-pointless, yet somehow-always-relatable to the semi-dramatic parts of my life, reality show. (Hope you followed that!) That's right The Hills is back for season 4. I have always been an unabashed super-fan of The Hills. So I'm very excited for tonight's new episode. I'm especially hoping that Lo (above, right) will finally get promoted to main cast member. She is my favorite. Happy days are here again.

A Summer of...Reading.

Due to lack of significant social contact and/or a full-time work schedule, I have turned to reading this summer as my primary form of escapism. I've always been a big reader. I'm even kind of OCD about my personal "library" (no one borrows. Ever.) However, it seems to me that I've read more books this summer than usual. These have been my summer adventures so far:

So yeah, I guess this list kind of officially makes me a nerd. A diverse nerd, but still a nerd. As if I didn't already know that.
